Let's revise the Present Perfect with For and Since.
I've had this car __________ years.

The correct answer is "for". We use for+ a period of time (e.g. two days, a year, a month etc.), whereas we use "since" + the start of the period (e.g. Monday, January, 1991 etc.).
We don't use "from" with the Present Perfect, which can be easily confused with "for", so be careful :)
