Leyla хорошая работа! I assure you that genre exists. http://www.macmillandictionary.com/dictionary/british/genre

Some comments for you: you did very well with 85% of the words but:

Your th sounds a little like z sound.

Your cuisine sounds a little like cousin rather than kwzin.

Your genre has a slightly rolled r at the end.

Jewellery you say  like the sound that begins genre. It should be /dʒ/ sound. To make this sound try and touch the top of your mouth with tongue (with your tongue in the same place as /3/).

Cool idea to do a recording good luck with your English :)

Hmm my cuisine and genre were not that food. In Dutch, we stole the same words from French, but I think we corrupted it a bit differently.

It's a useful list and video, a tiny bit long just to check, but it's important to get it right.

Roman, yeah that would interesting. Mostly American words have the same overall pronunciation stress and so on. (though of course there are expections). It is the vowel and diphthong sounds where there is a real difference to be felt. Often there is faint r sound to be heard in various American dialects.

I think it would be useful to hear an American saying these exact words to train our listening for two different accents...
