In terms of memorizing textbook knowledge, I have tried to make summaries and mind-maps but they don't work for me. I prefer to memorize from the textbooks directly. In memorizing vocabularies though, I usually write the vocabularies down on post it notes and paste them on the wall beside my bed so I can read them every time before I go to sleep.

I prefer to write what I want to memorize. Also, pictures are important for me to memorize easily.

I used to read what I had to memorize before hitting the sack.
