I am a native English speaker and certified English teacher.
I was wondering how many people on here would be interested in starting up a weekly book club over Skype? We pick a book, read it for homework, and then have the chance to practice vocabulary, English expressions and English idioms during book club every week!

It sounds like there is a lot of interest for a book club - and I think this idea is going to work! I am so glad.
Since different people are living in different time zones, let's do this: we will set up two times - one that will work for people on one side of the world, one that will work for people on the other.
One class will be: Monday, December 9 at 5:00pm EST
The other class will be: Tuesday, December 10 at 8:00am EST
The book we will be studying is: "The Diary of a Wimpy Kid" since it has become a national and international favorite.

Unfortunately, today's class had to be cancelled. First class will be next Monday (the 16th) at 5:00pm and next Tuesday (the 17th) at 8:00am for those in a different time zone.
