Public Education and Health Care Some people say that government should pay for public education and health care. I have my opinions. I think government should pay for all children's basic education. Every child should go to school, or he/she would have no skills to find a job when he/she grows up. If an uneducated person becomes a criminal, government would pay more for that. So, government ought to make sure that every child has the equal opportunity to go to school. If some children have to leave school for poor, government ought to help them. The best solution is that government pay for all children's basic education. However, I don't think that government should pay for public health care. For example, if there is a person who had smoked for many years and got an lung cancer, should government pay for his health care? I don't think so. It's unfair for the people who do their best to keep fit. People should pay for their bad habits by themselves.
