English and I day 203
Winter. (essay)
Winter is my favorite season in year. Of course I like summer and spring but not so much. You know this time is not very colorful, everything is covered by white snow, and, what is more, the light day became shorter. For example, when I wake up in 7 o'clock it is still dark and I observe bright red sunrise in 10.30 am. However, after the 22 December (the shortest day in the year) it will change. Not like a shot, but I get any hope once sun will wake up with me.
Winter time was canceled in Russia last year. It is great, because I see sun after work and my motivation gets stronger for walking with friends, going to the cinema, shopping mall or gym. Maybe you see only minuses in winter (minus 20 Celsius degree for example), but more than in my 24 I've never tried skiing, skating, snowboarding, ice fishing and etc. But the main reason why I love winter is romance. It is very romantically when snow fall under soft light of lamp post in dark. In that time I am feeling magic - the winter's magic.I believe I leave in peaceful place, where everyone wait some wonder. And sometimes they get it.
But all magic finished after 31 December. Of course, after that I start to wait other magic I call it "spring's" magic. Anyway I am going to try skating tomorrow, so, please bless me )))
