words i've learned in mandarin chinese.
ni hao , ni= you, hao= good
wan'an= good night
zao shang hao= good morning
wan shang hao= good evening
zaijien= good bye
initials- b, p, m, f, d, t, n, l, g, k, h, z,c ,s ,zh, ch ,sh, r, j, q, x
finals- a, o, e, ai, ao, an, ang, (that's all i can remember.)

Zaijian not zaijien
Some more finals that you forgot - i, ia, ie, iu, ing
ou, ong
ei, eng
uo, ue
Ni hao means hi but if you add ma (a word that you put at the end of a sentence to make it a question) at the end "ni hao ma" it becomes "how are you?"
