Charity, grammar and fun. www.freerice.com WFP is the world's largest humanitarian agency fighting hunger. www.freerice.com is an excellent site to practice grammar, vocabulary and many other subjects. For each correct answer the World Food Program donates 10 grains of rice. The more jaded among us could easily argue that the United Nations would give the rice anyway. But then you would not get to see how great your grammar isn't. You can play alone or in a group. Fun with team family. I use it in the classroom and the students love it. Play in French, Italian, Spanish, Korean, English. www.freerice.com

Thank you for reminding me about the "freerice". I have an account and I played some time but then I forgot about it. My logic teacher had presented the awful things that are happening in Somalia and me with my friends had decided to help them... It isn't just a way to help that people, it is more than that... we can, as you said, to have fun and improving our spanish, italian, english grammar... and the questins are easy. :)

Hi Kevin, for the more jaded :): the rice is paid for by sponsored adverts. In other words, the WFP isn't sitting on a pile of rice making us work for it. It doesn't exist until you answer a correct question. It's a simple, but powerful fundraising tool. Thanks for sharing!
