seem and look like
what's the difference between "seem" and "look like"

Look like is usually talking about how it appears visually, to the eyes ("she looked angry"). Seem can be any number of things that make you think of something else. Really it can be anything for example "she seemed angry", "the air seemed heavy", "the performance seemed like magic". Hope this helps.
