Hello Amina, your name آمنة indeed comes from آمن Amin to be save. Our expression Amen used in prayers is I think derived from the Arabic آمن. In my native language Dutch we made a verb from it “beamen” meaning to acknowledge, confirm! In Chinese it is安全 ān quán almost the same as in Japanese安全な Anzenna. な na means that it is not a true Japanese adjective but rather one derived from Chinese. 安全 ān quán literally means Complete Peace (a woman女 under a roof宀) and quán(人 rén people王wáng emperor->the emperor and its subjects, people so all, complete, made this up my self), and since you will be save in complete peace it also can mean save, secure… السلام عليكم آمنة. اسمكِ العزيزة حقا من الفعل آمن. الكلمة آمن أظن هي الأصل من الكلمة الإنجليزية وكلمة من لغة الهلندية Amen - beamen آمن متردمة باللغة الصينية واللغة اليابنية هى 全な 安全 فمعنى هذا الحرف الصينية هو النساء تحت السقف يعنى سلام او أمن. والحرف الثاني يعنى المالك مع موظنينه يعني الكل أو الكامل.

It's 安 though generally it means "peaceful" when it's written without 全. In my opinion, 和 means like 安, peaceful, quiet, etc.
