Turn back (Come Back?)
You said that you would come (turn) back, but you never really (you) did. . Maybe you are busy. I am waiting. .
There is a phrase 'turn back the clock' - to return to the past, and also you can use 'turn back' when referring to say a car journey - 'I drove so far and then decided to turn back home'. I think in the context used that you really mean 'come back' ?
