This morning when while I was still lying in the bed，my little sister shouted “Look out of the window! It‘s snowing heavily!” I sat up and looked out of the window - wow! The ground was all white, and the snowflakes were still dancing in the air. Beautiful!
This is was the first snowfall in this winter. This winter is not has not been very cold in general. Even in on the day of Spring Festival there was no snowfall, which made the festival lack some feelings. took away some of its feeling for me. My parents said that in their childhood the snowfalls were so heavy that doors and windows were blocked. I can't imagine that because I haven‘t have never seen such a heavy snowfall. Maybe it’s one of the results of global warming.
<em>The US is having one of the coldest winters in twenty years. Many conservative people, who want to keep using their big cars, etc., deny that climate change exists. It is like denying that cigarettes cause cancer. So they point to this unusually cold winter, not the 19 unusually warm winters that preceded it.</em>
