Chipa. Chipa is a typical Paraguayan food which is very popular and eaten by almost everyone in Paraguay.Foreign people who visit Paraguay surely eat chipa. This food is also a tradition during Holy Week. But how is it prepared? Ingredients: eggs, flour, anise, butter, starch, cheese (filling), milk, and salt. It's very easy to make it; just mix all of these ingredients by hand (do not use mixers or blenders). Then to bake it, you need a "tatakuá", which is a kind of oven, for about 20 minutes. The secret is to pay attention when it is getting a golden color. Some people use a banana leaf as "protection" because the takakua is extremely hot and you can't keep control of the temperature. http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chip%C3%A1

Chipa is a traditional Paraguayan dish which is very popular and eaten by almost everyone in Paraguay. Foreign people who visit Paraguay should certainly eat chipa. It is also a tradition to eat it during Holy Week. But how is it prepared?
Ingredients: eggs, flour, anise, butter, starch, cheese (filling), milk, and salt. It's very easy to make it; just mix all of these ingredients by hand (do not use mixers or blenders). Then, you'll need a "tatakuá", which is a kind of oven, to bake the batter for about 20 minutes. The secret is to pay attention to when it starts browning. Some people use banana leaves as "protection", because it is extremely hot inside the takakuá you can't control of the temperature easily. :)
