Good question! That's a little hard for native speakers to answer. It's mostly a grammatical difference. "Way" is a noun. "Somehow" is an adverb.
Examples:
We'll fix it somehow. (Somehow we'll fix it.)
We'll find some way (a way) to fix it.

The difference is the way you will employ it in the sentence.
Only grammatical issues, note the two sentences below:
The first sentence the word 'somehow' is impregada before the verb. (phrase beginning)
The second sentence the word 'some way' is impregada after the verb. (end of sentence)
1- So somehow or other she needed to get rid of two tumors before she Could be Helped.
2- I believe this is the reason why we really are compelled to Intervene in some way.
I hope that helped!
Good luck!

There really isn't much of a difference. But here's an example of each:
-Somehow I'm going to figure out how to put together this shelf.
-There's has to be some way to put together the shelf.
So, as you can see, they both are very similar.
