I want some tips to learn English.

I always study English for obligacion because of my obligations at school, so I started to hate it and don't didn't want to read all the things in English. But now I want to learn, and I don't know how I do to stop with that bad feeling. Can you help me?

This is a tough question :) I think I understand your feeling, at least a little bit, because of my own struggles with learning Spanish. It makes my brain feel so tired sometimes.

I do my best to notice that I am getting better. Things that were difficult for me a month ago are easier for me now. There are new things that are really hard to do and one day in the future those things will seem easy to me.

And I'm sure you do this too -- I look for things that are really interesting to me. It's amazing how much information there is on the internet for language learning. At first I searched in English and found some good Spanish learning websites. I have started searching in Spanish now and I am finding a whole new group of websites.

I wish I could be more helpful. I'm guessing that other people on italki have some good suggestions for you too.

I want some tips to learn English.

I have always been forced to study English at school. I started to hate it and didn't want to read anything in English. Now I want to learn but I don't know how to stop having that bad feeling. Can you help me?

Hi Dede, I understand what you are talking about. What you're feeling is very normal. I would suggest that you think about why you are learning English in the first place. You've lived your life being told that "it's important" but what does that mean? Do you want to learn English to: - get a job - travel - meet new people - master a skill - understand movies and TV - … Understanding your own reasoning is the first step to getting over this bad feeling. The second step is to understand that learning another language isn't something you do overnight. It's something you do for a lifetime. It's a journey, just like eating healthy and exercising. For example, if you wanted to lose some weight, you wouldn't starve yourself, you'd start to eat a salad once in a while and maybe go for a walk. You'd incorporate healthier things in your life a little at a time. Learning English is exactly the same. Start by taking things that you already like to do and do them in English. Do you like to cook? Try reading cook books in English. Try mastering one recipe at a time and don't expect yourself to learn everything in one day.
