I'm sorry i was very busy and didn't have time to write you earlier. This Kazakh tradition is very beautiful and very meaningful. It is so nice the runner is white colour because it symbolised happy future for young couple. I understand why every woman cries when the bride walks on this very special runner made by her mother towards her husband.

"Ak zhol" in Kazakh language means "White way". This article is about wedding day by our traditions.
When young couple have decided to marry, usually they have two wedding days - "send offs of fiancee" and wedding day. Send off of fiancee is prepared and paid by bride's parents and wedding day is prepared and paid by groom's parents. Today I would like to tell you about "send off fiancee", more precisely about the final ceremony of this event.
At the end of the dinner with toasts, dancing, etc., mother of bride lays on the floor "ak zhol" - it is long white runner, made of white textile with golg kazakh traditional ornament by sides. We believe - the longer, wider and more beautiful the runner is, the happiest life waiting for young couple. And every mother tries to make the longest and the most beautiful runner. So, the runner is placed in the hall, up to the door entrance, the guests stand by sides, not stepping on the runner. The bride and her parents are at the beginning and the groom and his parents are at the end of the runner, near the entrance. Than the parents of the bride have small toast with their wishes and hopes to their new son-in-law and send their daughter to walk the runner to her husband . Usually in this exciting moment all women are crying.
After the bride gets to the groom, they walk out  and go to the groom's home with all groom's relatives, and the guests continue to celebrate. It is another very beautiful Kazakh tradition, which I love so much and dreaming to prepare it for my daughter.

At the end of the dinner with speeches… here correct word for speech is “toast” You use word “toast” when is some social event (dinner, lunch, party, etc…) and somebody has something to say to everybody. All people listen and one person says nice wishes or some interesting story…You use word “speech” if somebody speaks on some official meeting (not at dinner).

Mother of the bride puts to the floor… correct: puts on the floor,

It is long white track - the word “track” means something like track for cyclists, here is correct to use the word “runner”, this is long carpet, usually in long halls, or on stairs,

“cloth” means тряпка,
