A new method of detectinghow to find the cancer was developed by MYTECH, a company with medical facilities in Kobe prefecture, and the Shouwa University hospital in Tokyo, in being the first in the world. This technique can capture the light emitted from some substances in the blood linked with related to the cancer.
This method takes only one drop of blood and in 3 minutes to diagnose. The developing groups aim to apply it tofor a clinical setting in one year.

<em>Though you could say "find cancer", the proper term we use for "finding" a serious illness is typically "detect" or, when it is officially determined someone has that illness, to "diagnose". </em>
<em>For example, "We have used this new method to detect ("find") the illness, and have diagnosed it as ("determined it to be") cancer."</em>
<em>-- On a further note, the difference in terms would be that "find" implies looking for the location of something, so for example where in the body the tumour is, whereas "detect" implies finding out whether or not they actually have cancer. So it depends what you mean, but since "cancer" is not an "object", it makes more sense to "detect" cancer rather than "find" cancer. But you would "find" a tumour, not really "detect" one.</em>
