TOEFL Essay. A person should never make an important decision alone. There is no double that we need to make lots of decisions in our life, but how to make a decision is very difficult. Some people prefer to hear the opinion of others, and some people think they should make a decision by themselves. I think we should be good at listening to the other people opinion when we want to make an important decision.There are lots of reasons for my point of view, First of all, different people might have different opinions. Thus, in order to make the right choice people should discuss every possible decision and give their own idea. As we know, everyone is limited in his energy, it is impossible to do every thing all by ourselves. So sometimes we might need some experiences or knowledge. If we can discuss with other people, it can make this decision become more perfect. For example,  teenagers are too young to make any important decision because they are not mature enough yet.  If they have to make an important, it might be wrong. Therefore, they need to ask their parents for helping. Second, a good manager who listen to everyone’s opinion. For example, the manager should listen to customer’s advice and then they can make decisions clearly. In china, emperors had boundless power in ancient society. Emperor worried that the higher officials shares his authority and threatens his status. They prefer made an important decision by themselves. However, they might make some wrong decisions, it leaded dynasty was destroyed. Li Shimin, who was one of the greatest emperors in Chinese history. The emperor was known he would listen to his minster and then made a decision. Finally, I think that a person should consult with his friends or parents when making an important decision to avoid possible mistakes.
