Every day.
Every day I do something for to reach my objectives, even if it's a small step. The important is not lose focus.

Every day.
Every day I do something for to reach my objectives, even if it's a small step. The important thing is to not lose focus.
Goals would be a much more common word than objectives in this sentence, although everyone would still understand your original phrase.
Unlike in Spanish (Lo importante es que...), you need a noun after "the important." Thing works as a generic word to complete the sentence so it makes sense.
