Question

Is it correct to use the word "drama" when speaking about the performance of small kids for Christmas? I mean the text for their performance..or it's better to use a word "script"

e.g. You have to prepare scripts for Christmas party this week

This depends on what they are doing.  e.g. "The kids are performing in a drama at the Christmas party" - drama is used when we are talking about the performence itself.

"The Christmas drama's script is really difficult, there are so many big words!" - this is the written 'book' of the words the actors/children use in the drama or play.

I hope that's useful, let me know if you have more questions!
