Sa mhadainn
-Madainn mhath a ghràidh! An robh thu gu math nad cadal math agat?-Bha, ach tha mi sgìth fhathast
-A bheil an t-acras ort? 'S urrainn dhomh bracaist a' dhèanamh bracaist.
-Tha! Tha an t-acras gam tholladh!
-Dè ghabhas tu? uighean? hama? An dà chuid?
-Seadh (*gabhaidh? ghabhas?*) [here the reply is Seadh because the actual question that is being answered is Uighean? Hama? An dà chuid?, in which there is no verb; the question Dè ghabhas tu? is not a "yes/no" question, so the answer wouldn't be Gabhaidh, it would be, for example, Uighean, hama agus min-choirce] ... agus min-choirce, mas e do thoil e
-Ceart ma-thà.
Math fhèin, a Erica! 'S ann gu barrail a tha do Ghàidhlig a' tighinn air adhart.
