A few sentences. Are there any mistakes?
Below is a description from a book I am reading.
The palace was very big that gave a feeling of coldness. There were not a lot of pieces of furnitures in there and he thought that the room in which he was was too big for the little things inside.
He thought that for nothing in the world he would change his little house for this palace.

The palace was very big <strike>that</strike> and gave a feeling of coldness. There were not a lot of pieces of furniture<strike>s</strike> in there, and he thought that the room in which he <strike>was</strike> stood (there are a lot of different words you could use here) was too big for the little things inside.
He thought that for nothing in the world he would exchange (trade might also be a good word here, instead of change) his little house for this palace.
Keep up the good work.

The palace was so big that it gave a feeling of coldness. There were only a few pieces of furniture there, making the room in which he was feel too big for the small things inside. He thought that nothing in the world would make him give up his little house for this palace.

I would put it like this:
Description from a book I am reading below:
The palace was enormous, that gave a feeling of coldness. There weren't a lot of furnitures pieces in there and he thought the room was too big for the little things inside.
He thought he wouldn't change his little house for this palace for nothing in the world.
