I got a question
How do you say "moreno" in english? Moreno is somebody whose skin is neither white nor black, it's kind of brown. Most people in countries like México or Colombia have this color.
i've heard the word "brunette" and acording to google it's the exact translation of "moreno", but once i heard that someone "brunette" can be a white person with a dark hair.
Does anybody know an exact word for "moreno"?

There really isn't a word for this in American English. People of mixed African and non-African heritage in the US are usually considered African-American, or black, unless they have immigrated from another country and then they are referred to by their country of origin plus -American, for example "Dominican-American." They might also be called a POC, or person of color, which can include any person of color (indigenous, African-American, Asian-American, etc.).
