First notebook entry: Introducing myself Namaste! Mere naame Meg. Mein hindi somagti hoon bahut thodi thodi. Mein hindustani nahin hoon, mugar mere dil hindustani hai! :) That's about all I can put together into sentences. I know enough food vocabulary to follow a recipe or order a meal and be mostly confident at what I'm getting. A handful of other random words, some of which are courtesy of my friends, and they will not be repeated. ;) Others mostly picked up from old hindi movies and songs.
