URGENGY - ABSTRACT This study investigated the theme "Storytelling in Childhood Education", through a theoretical study about it, referencing authors who published on the theme. It also presents an analysis of the practical experiences of storytelling in a nursery school. The study demonstrates and reinforces the importance of storytelling in children's learning and social development. Key words: Counting, stories, early childhood education.
