Continueing from last week, I will continue talking about special events that occur in each month in Japan. In June, we have Father's Day. As I said before, we send carnations on Mother's Day, but on this day, there is no specific rule, and each family sends a different expression of gratitude. Next, July is the month of Tanabata, a romantic day when the Milky Way flows through the sky and the distant stars Orihime and Hikoboshi can meet only once a year. In August, most students are on summer vacation and rarely go to school. In September, we have Respect for the Aged Day, a day to give thanks to the elderly. In this way, there may be many days in Japan to thank someone. There is also Disaster Prevention Day, and schools tend to do evacuation drills on this day. This week is also called Disaster Prevention Week. It seems that Japan is set to raise awareness because there are many natural disasters.

is also called Disaster Prevention Week. It seems that Japan is prepared to raise awareness because there are many natural disasters.
