Meaning: to put away can mean to keep something in its place.
Example: Can you please put your things away?
Put down
Meaning: To put someone down can mean to insult someone or say they are bad.
Example: They always put their brother down. I don't know why they would do that. It's hurtful.

Meaning: To put something in can mean to fix a large piece of equipment into a room or building.
Example: We've just put in a new split system.
Put off
Meaning: To put off can mean to postpone or leave until a later time.
Example: Let's put off the meeting until we're ready to meet with the stakeholders.
