I think that when we got something with effort we appreciate it. And it doesn't matter the real value. I feel like we have a kind of mental chip that tells us: if I get something with effort, I should care about that. That's what happened to me. When I went to primary school, I used to work hard for my math class, and I got a medal, which wasn't made up of gold or any other precious metal. But for me it is my favorite memory because it was the thing that made me feel different from others. It was such a wonderful time. I felt like I was not just a number in a list.
