Any English teachers who give feedback on conversational classes? Hi, I hope you are doing well. I'm B2 in English and I study grammar on my own, I just want to practice conversation in a planned way. I have taken classes with different teachers and have received little feedback on grammar and pronunciation mistakes, so I am looking for a new teacher. I would like a planned class and we can talk about a topic and have him/her correct me when I make mistakes and write them down. Do you know anyone you can recommend?

Hi, Abi. I've already used the exact structure you're describing in thousands of lessons with hundreds of students on iTalki over the last three years. I always try to find the right balance between offering timely corrections and allowing the student to keep their speech flowing.

Hi Abi. How's it going? I'm from New Zealand and am new to Italki but not a new teacher. I've got 5+ years of experience teaching English. By the sounds of it, one of my class types I offer, called 'Structured English Conversation Lessons', would suit what you're looking for. The aim of these lessons is to engage students in structured conversations with interesting topics and speaking activities whilst I take notes on grammar, pronunciation and vocabulary usage. I do this throughout the lesson as well as provide feedback and suggestions at the end of the class. Feel free to have a look at my profile to read more about the class. All the best. 😊

Howdy Abi. Many of my students use this method. It is great for stony intermediate speakers. Sometimes we decide on the topic beforehand to give the student a little time to prepare, and sometimes I don’t tell them the topic until class time to make them think quickly. Pairing this with a related article or essay that we both read before the class also works well. Give me a shout if you’re interested.

Hi Abi. I am Debby and I am originally from Namibia, but I currently work as an English teacher in Japan. It sounds like you're looking for a structured approach to enhance your conversational skills while receiving detailed feedback on grammar and pronunciation. I would love to help you with that! Please feel free to send me a direct message, and we can discuss our first class. I'm looking forward to hearing from you!
