What is the difference between effect and affect. how to pronounce them correctly.Please anyone explain.

Affect is the verb, effect is a noun.
Something affects something and we can feel the effect of it.
Affect is pronounced with the A from apple, effect with the E from Email.

Something can "affect" you. (affect= verb)
Something can have an "effect" on you. (effect=noun).
