Why is education necessary for nations?
According to political and economic analysts the world is divided into three categories, developed, developing and poor nations. Developed nations are socially, economically and politically strong and transparent, and their leadership is accountable to their public. At some point in history the present time prosper nations have gone through a turbulent and fierce period when they used to have a dilapidated social conditions, but they have learnt from past and now ruling the world. On the other hand, there are some nations that haven't been able to succeed, politically and economically, even after 100 years of their independence. Some people may argue that their small group of elite has been ruling their country and preventing middle class to grow. But if we look at history and some new states that have grown rapidly after their independence, they have one thing in common, they have invested heavily to educate the people and made accountable their actions to the public. As Abraham Lincoln once said: " the philosophy of school in one generation will be the philosophy of government in the next generation". Therefore this is clear that when a nation is educated and made socially cohesive, a country prosper and factors like corruption are disregarded. In order words, education make people aware and give them conscience of their rights, this is return make the ruling class accountable, as an educated mind voice the inequalities openly. In the end, it can be concluded that education is the only factor that made countries socially, politically and economically develop and integrate nations.
