Hi guys, I'm wondering if someone can help me understand the lesson pricing structure. I am a new student on italki and when I found the right teacher it shows in their profile "hourly rate from AUD $26". However when I try to book a 1 hour class the price is AUD $44 which is almost double. Is this normal? Is there a way to see the real hourly rate of a teacher without clicking through to book a class with them? Many thanks

I've seen that before for certain teachers (the 'hourly rate' shown in the profile seems to be the half-hourly rate or something significantly less). Not sure why it happens, but, I agree, it's annoying.

The lowest price they list ("From") includes packages. So if my rate is 34/hr for individual lessons but I offer a 10-lesson package for 330, my profile will say "From 33/hr"
