aww....maybe I shouldn't see your questions..because I just realize that I'm even confused about my mother tongue sometimes...:P...I think they're totally similar,and I really cannot figure out the difference,well...mostly,you can use one word to replace the other word,it's OK...

it's hard to say, qin=wen in the most of time,and they can be exchanged.
亲额头=吻额头,亲脸颊=吻脸颊,亲嘴唇=吻嘴唇,吻孩子=亲孩子,.......

亲和吻的意思差不多~没多大区别

I asked this question some time ago, and the answer I was given by a native Chinese was:
- 亲 is used to describe a kiss between friends or relatives
- 吻 is a kiss between lovers (a french kiss). In fact 吻 has the 口 radical.
As far as I know 亲吻 also means kiss, and it is a more general term.
But maybe you should have a native Chinese confirm this...;-)
