Ang kaibiga'y mag-aalay ng sarili niyang buhay ="a good friend will offer his life for you." Walang hihigit sa yaring pag-aalay. = "there's nothing greater than this kind of dedication"

...a friend would give his/her life for a friend...nothing compares to this supreme sacrifice of giving one's life for the sake of a friend...
