Polite means "Police" but in which language ? Does anybody know it ? Thank you :)

In norwegian police is written "politi" in swedish its "polis". Dont know if it helps u

Polite = cortés, educado, atento, delicado en Español. Muy diferente de "police" que en nuestro idioma significa: La policía, control, limpieza, mantenimiento del orden,vigilar, supervisar, limpiar. Lo policíaco.
