A word rundown
My foreign teacher made a sentence which said that "My computer was rundown ",is that right? He gave the Chinese meaning 减少,and gave the English meaning in a poor state.I wonder whether there is something wrong with the word, meaning or the sentence.

Yes 'run down' means something has been used a lot so it isn't as good as when it was new.
You can also say 'tired' and many other things which mean old.
