Like, "What did you do yesterday?" or "What are you doing?" What is Chinese for "do"?

Here,do means “zuo shen me(做什么)”or“gan ma(干吗)” in chinese。

这种直接翻译,太死板了,Ni hui zuo shenme rang shijie bian cheng geng hao de difang? 虽然是意思明白了,如果是中国人,会觉得很别扭。wei le rang shi jie bian de geng hao,ni hui zuo dian shen me ne ?这样看起来会更好一些。
