What does "an innocent question" mean ? as title. I only know someone would be innocent (not guilty).

An innocent question is a question which is not provocative, contentious or deeply personal. "What colour is your sofa?" is an innocent question. "What plants do you have at home?" is an innocent question. "How often do you have sex?" is not an innocent question.
