We can go to either cafe, I don't mind. 2. Neither of these/my/Tom's... etc. Either of these/ my/ Tom's... etc - ни один, может так же быть "оба". Neither of the units we went to see was (were) good. I haven't watched either of the movies. Would you like tea or coffee? - Either. I don't mind. Neither ... nor... Neither Chris nor Pat came to the party. Either ... or ... или... Either you apologise or I'll never speak to you again. Hope, it helps. :)))

From my point of view, "either" means any of the two and "neither" means none of the two. e.g.: How do you like to get there? Bus or taxi? Either is OK. That means you will go there by bus or taxi. Neither. That means you won't go there by bus or taxi, maybe you prefer a metro.

fg. Either Mr. Zhang or Li in HK now. No one would stay at home, either. Neither warm or cold, moderately cold.
