if somebody say "thanks" for me ,can i say "anytime" for him?
today,i saw a film.
there is a dialogue like this.
one said "thanks",another said "anytime".
or have i got it wrong?

Yes you can say "anytime" or "my pleasure" or anything like that. Usually to people you know.

To answer the question, yes you can. When you say "anytime", you're saying that you're glad "to do that for them". I hope this helps you.
