Patates/ pommes de terre???
I have a question for French people about potatoes. I knew that it is called "pommes de terre" in French. On the other hand I encountered another word recently - "des patates douces" - "sweet potatoes" which is other vegetable. Then. Is there word "patates" for "potatoes" in French? :)
