What does "through everything"mean in this short duologue?
Here is the duologue:
A:Do you want me to kick his ass?
B:yes. no. I bought him the shirt he's wearing,it is really expensive. And through everything... He's still my dad.
what does "through everything"mean? It's oral expression or smothing else?

I think it means- besides or thanks to all... If I don't right, sorry...

it means "although he's bad and good sometimes" he's still my dad...
simply, u can say "whatever he does to me, he's still my dad".
no matter how cruel or bad he is towards me, he's still my dad.
