What does "Childbearing" mean?
The dictionary says: Childbearing = the process of having babies
and gives an example: The survey is only concerned with women of childbearing age.
And I saw the example and said: Ohhh cant get it

of childbearing age.= the age when a girl is mature enough to get pregnant and have a baby.

women of chlidbearing age means that women who are 15-49. In other word, they're in the age that can have baby.

To put it simply, childbearing means to get pregnant and have babies. A 95-year-old woman is too old to have babies, so she is not of childbearing age. A five year old girl is too young to have babies, so she is not of childbearing age either.

childbearing age = the age where you are capable of the process of having a baby
