"set phaser to dumb" what does this mean?
in last episode of big bang theory, when Spock told Sheldon to wake up before he could play the toy, Sheldon responded with this "set phaser to dumb, right?" It sounded like a witty comeback, but I don't understand. Was it a quote from stak trek series? I couldn't find any. Thanks

I think its a reference to Star trek 'Set phasers to stun'. 'Set phasers to dumb' means that when you shoot someone with the phaser, they become dumb/stupid/unintelligent.
