Difference between "こんばんは", "こんにちは" and "おはよう" ? What is the difference between "こんばんは", "こんにちは" and "おはよう" ? And between "おやすみ" and "おやすみなさい" ?

こんばんは=Good evening(night time) こんにちは=Hello(day time) おはよう=Good morning(morning time) おやすみ=Good night (sounds casual) おやすみなさい=It's a polite version of おやすみ Japanese kids often say おやすみなさい to their parents. hope it helps :)

my english is no very well “こんばんは” Night to meet when using “おはよう”  In the morning meeting use "こんにちは" It can be used any time おやすみ= good night おやすみなさい To go to bed こんばんは 夜 会うときに 使います。 おはよう  朝 会うときに 使います。 こんにちは いつでも 会うときに 使います。 おやすみなさい  ちょっと 命令な気持ちがあります。
