Te amo 与 Me gusto.
Te amo是我爱你的意思,但是Te gusto是你喜欢我的意思,为什么不是"我喜欢你"?
Te amo=I love you, Te gusto=you like me(why is not "i like you"?)

The verb "gustar" literally means "to be pleasing".
Te gusto=I am pleasing to you.

gustar这个动词的意思是“使……喜欢”,te是宾语,所以te gusto就是我使你喜欢,也就是你喜欢我。要表达我喜欢你,应该说me gustas。amar的意思是“爱”,正如你理解的那样没错。

"I like you" significa "Me gustas"
I: Yo
Like: gustar
You: tú
"You like me" significa "Te gusto"
You: Tú
Like: Gustar
Me: Yo
La persona que realiza la acción va primero, después va el verbo y después la persona con que se realiza el verbo. ¿Entiendes de esta forma?
