How to use こちら?
I see a sentence: こちらは先生です。
Does こちら means "this is"?
Does こちら also mean "these is"?

I made some examples useing こちら.
・こちらは雨がっ降っています。(in this case, こちら means "here".)
It's raining here.
・こちらは○○高校の生徒さんたちです。(in this case, こちら means "They".)
They are ○○ high school's students.
・こちらからもう一度お電話します。(in this case, こちら means "I".)
I'll call you again.
"こちら" can indicate something around you, if something is within the range where you can point to useing a hand.
I hope that you'll be familiar with "こちら" and that my English sentences are correct.

もしもし、こちらは◯◯会社です。 Hellp, here is ◯◯ company .
こちらは◯◯さんです。This is ◯◯ Mr/ Miss.
こちらからもう一度確認します。 We/ I will check it again.
