Really 表达你的惊奇，不相信你所听到的。但是你听得很清楚。

1. I just bought a new car. => You did? 是你（买的）？
2. Johnny is in the hospital. => He is? 是他（在医院）？
3. I'm going to Hawaii. => You are? 是你（要去夏威夷）？
这些附加问句表达你没有听清楚，想再一次确认对方所说的，相当于what did you say? 和really 用法是完全不同的。
