What is the meaning of the phrase: "aankhon khulin, haath samet lenaa"
is it "to open the eyes, and fold the hands". or is a phrase meaning something else?

it means as soon as you get to know the fact, you took out of yourself from that matter.

you wrote right . but it may be different meaning its all depend on a passage of the book on which sense author wrote it.
