When does 바라다 become 바래요?
Hello, I run into this sentence: 항상 행복하길 바래.
At first, I thought the dictionary form of 바래 is 바래다 but looking at Naver's definition of 바래다, it doesn't seem right. After some googling, I found out that 바래 there is from 바라다.
Why does it become 바래 and not 바라?
Thank you and have a nice day~~
